The German metal artist Sebastian Summa has his own studio in East Berlin not too far from L3. His elegant Org collection is inspired by astronomy and science fiction and consists of seven or twelve different lengths of glass tubes connected to one another. The light-emitting tubes are made of opal glass, while their ends are made of anodized aluminum. Integrated LEDs act as a light source and distribute glare-free, diffuse light. The horizontal pendant luminaire is a special object that looks impressive in both rustic and sophisticated modern surroundings. Org can be dimmed via an external phase dimmer.
